Hal Denbar

Hal began his journey in the pool industry as an owner/operator, founding Patriot Pool & Spa in Austin, TX in 2006.  He started Patriot Pool & Spa the week he graduated from college with one pool cleaning account and first-year revenues of $3,000.  After 5 years as a one-man company, Patriot started growing aggressively to become the largest residential provider of pool service in Austin.  Hal’s dedication to creating the finest customer experience in the industry led Patriot Pool & Spa to become the fastest growing pool service company in the nation, earning a spot on the Inc. 5000 list for four consecutive years.

In 2020, Hal began working on the thesis for National Pool Partners with Imperial Capital, and they launched NPP in late 2020.  In December of 2020, Hal sold Patriot Pool & Spa to NPP and joined as President of NPP’s Texas business, later serving as Chief Operating Officer.  He was appointed CEO in 2023.
